Week #9 Marketing Evolution, the Need to Evolve

 Despite the crucial and recurring major theme of content and quality of content, one of this biggest and in this case less acknowledged elements that is absolutely necessary for effective SEO maintenance is embracing change. Next to nothing in the age of the internet, smartphones, or just modern technology in general, ever stays the same. No longer do people live by the adage 'if it's not broken, don't fix it', rather people now look at and from every angle to see were there's room for improvement; which in the long run is a much better and much smarter than riding out the current SEO/user experience.  Dr. Kelsey warns that not embracing and moving with change can be detrimental is the long run, leading to dissatisfied users and a slowly but surely SEO/user interface dwindling into obsolescence.  The most important thing I took away from this chapter in the book is to be self-aware of not only your own position in the world of SEO, but everything around you as well...
